Best* Friend Poop Portraits with Jolina

Past Event

Thanks to our major sponsors, the City of Vincent, we are taking exhibitions out of our space and bringing them to YOU with Forward Bound: a roving exhibition program...

To open the program, join Jolina for their favourite friendship pasttimes: poop talk, crafting, and best friend photoshoots. In this workshop, you will sculpt your poop from colourful, edible dough, and decorate it with sprinkles, candies, and other beautiful things to create a poop portrait of your friend.

Your friendship and poop portraits will then be immortalised in the form of a glamour shot by photographer Tasha Faye. At the end of the workshop, we will have a small picnic and eat the poops together. Next time you’re doing a number two, it might just be your poop buddy coming out to say hi again.

These workshops are free (!) thanks to the City of Vincent and Paper Mountain. Book for you and a (best*) friend by e-mailing with your names and contact numbers. Spots are limited to 6 pairs of friends per workshop. There is a morning session from 11am - 1pm and an afternoon session from 2pm-4pm.

Artistic duo Alina Tang and Johanna Acs, collectively known as Jolina, have been best buddies since the tender age of two. Their collaborative practice began in 2018, and they have since worked on several projects including exhibitions, children’s festivals, workshops, and other creative activities. Their practice celebrates friendship, and is driven by a mutual love for craft-based making, bright & pastel colours, making new friends, funtivities, and spending time together.
