Pride Month

We will be flying the rainbow flag to support PrideFEST 2019 this November.

The City of Vincent continues more than 20 years of partnership with PrideFEST through a range of free community activities celebrating this year’s theme of “Reflect, community, heroes, identity and love.”

PrideFEST 2019 opens with Pride Fairday, held at Hyde Park on 2 November. This is the perfect opportunity for everyone to come together and meet local community groups, LGBT+ artists, allies and supporters to enjoy great food and entertainment. With an all-inclusive free area, this year’s Fairday provides something for everyone.

Beatty Park will play centre stage for Vincent throughout PrideFEST 2019, with complimentary passes and a range of special ‘Let’s get classy’ for pride classes led by LGBT+ instructors available throughout November. Look for the rainbow on the fitness timetable for specific class details. You can also sign up to join us on the City of Vincent float for this year’s Pride Parade.

The Pride Parade and Float on Saturday, 30 November is the highlight of the PrideFEST calendar. Grab your favourite inflatables and pool toys and join us on the City of Vincent’s Beatty Park themed float, led by the Perth White Pointers water polo team.  Sign up forms are available at Beatty Park.
